A Year to Live
How would you live this year as if it were your last?
And how might exploring the reality of death open new dimensions of living?

Thresholds, losses, and crises can briefly wake us up to impermanence and the sacredness of life. But how might we, without crisis, awaken to what truly matters…and stay awake?

Drawing from the timeless teachings in Stephen Levine’s book, A Year to Live, this group offers a focused exploration of letting go, loss, and death - creating space for an amplified experience of meaning, life, and living.
This will be a warm, supportive space in which to:

~Connect directly to what matters most
~Confront the denial of death and the fear of fully living
~Bring completion to the past and clear the way for what is to come
~Cultivate present-moment awareness and gratitude
~Repair conflicts and practice forgiveness
~Discern life changes that may bring greater fulfillment
Our time in community will include personal sharing, group discussions, mindfulness practices, somatic meditations, creative arts, ritual, and other modalities to deepen our contemplative process. Adults of any age and any spiritual tradition are welcome to participate in this life-affirming exploration of mortality.
