The Right to Write

Do you want to pursue writing but feel uncertain how to begin?
Have you been craving structure to help cultivate supportive writing habits?
Is there something you are called to say but lack the confidence to express it?
Are you ready to reconnect with and revitalize your love of writing?
If any of these resonate, please join us for a group journey through Julia Cameron’s book, The Right to Write, a welcoming and encouraging guide regardless of writing experience. This process offers practical wisdom that addresses common challenges such as procrastination, perfectionism, time limitations, and writer’s block. The book’s exercises and insightfully crafted prompts also provide opportunities to explore limiting beliefs, fears, and insecurities that can interfere with establishing and sustaining a thriving writing practice.
Whether you…

~ are a practiced writer or just getting started
~ want to write fiction, essays, memoir, or in other genres
~ hope to journal for personal reflection or to publish
~ experience writing as sacred work or a playful pastime
~ or are exploring a new creative identity

…you are invited to join us!
Cameron reminds us that everyone has “the right to write.” This group is for anyone ready to commit to a writing practice and observe the mindsets that block the words that want to come through.

Our focus is not on content or exchanging critique, but on the writing process itself. Our time will include both individual check-ins and group discussions. Together we’ll explore the nature of blocks, share insights, and encourage one another’s practice, gathering in community on our shared paths toward freeing the voice within.
